Outside Equipment Sales

PowerQuip is seeking Outside Equipment Sales to identify new target buyers and effectively make in-field sales calls to discover the prospects’ equipment needs and to offer solutions. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented outside sales expert with a great attitude who can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. If you are looking to combine your communication and prospecting skills with your outside sales experience to leverage the upside potential in the equipment industry, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input the required information as needed.
  • Position us as the clear and obvious choice in our market through competitive analysis and product trends.
  • Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages.
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue expectations and meet sales and lead generating activities goals to ensure future business.
  • Convert “no” into “yes” by identifying and resolving potential obstacles such as budget, timelines, shareholders, competition, and other pain points.
  • Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects.
  • Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with Construction Equipment, Hay Equipment, Tractors, and other Ag and Industrial equipment and attachments.
  • Deadlines and details motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team alike.
  • At least 2 years of outside sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales.
  • You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals.
